Myanmar was hit by a devastating earthquake on 28 March. Six regions and states have suffered severe damage, with 3,728 deaths, 5,104 injuries, and 79 missing as of 20 May.
Local and international rescue teams conducted search and rescue operations promptly in the impacted areas.
To date, 653 survivors have been rescued from collapsed buildings, and the bodies of 806 deceased have been recovered.
Local and foreign donors have continued to support the affected communities with financial assistance and essential supplies, and the inventory of donations will be released soon.
