Mandalay University is planning to hold its 100th anniversary celebration in July this year.
Mandalay University was first opened as Mandalay University College on July 4, 1925, and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025.
A coordination meeting to hold the centenary celebration of Mandalay University was held on May 19, and was attended by ministers from the regional government, vice-chancellors of Mandalay University, alumni of Mandalay University, and officials.
During the meeting, the vice-chancellor of Mandalay University discussed the arrangements for holding the centenary celebration of Mandalay University, and members of the Mandalay University 100th anniversary celebration organizing committee, alumni of Mandalay University, and city leaders discussed and made suggestions regarding the centenary celebration.
