When the PDFs came to the place where the funeral prayer was held at the village cemetery of Htauk Kyant Kwin, Taungdwingyi Township, 1 monk was killed and 1 was injured.
It happened yesterday morning at around 10:15 in Magway Region. At the village cemetery of Htauk Kyant Kwin Village, while the local residents of the village and the surrounding villages invited 4 monks and were offering prayers, 2 PDFs arrived on 1 motorcycle and opened fire with small arms.
It is reported that the security forces have sent the monk who was injured by a small arms bullet to the public hospital in Taungdwingyi Township for medical treatment, and the security forces are cooperating with the local people to investigate and identify the PDFs who shot and killed the monks as soon as possible
