Myanmar drew 1-1 with match against the Asian powerhouse, Vietnam in their first match of Group A at the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup on Wednesday.
Both teams played a competitive game, and in the first half, neither side scored a goal. Minh Quang scored a goal for Vietnam in the second half, while Ko Ko Lwin equalized the game for Myanmar.
The AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024, in which the Myanmar national futsal team is competing, will be held from 17 to 28 April at the Huamark Indoor Stadium and Bangkok Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Team Myanmar will take on host Thailand on 19 April and China on 21 April in Group A.
