The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement will provide 5.344 million bags of cement from the National Disaster Management Committee funds to reconstruct homes damaged by the earthquake in 54 townships in 8 regions and states, including the Union Territory of Nay Pyi Taw.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement made the remarks before the (3/2025) coordination meeting of the Myanmar Cement Manufacturers Association held at the meeting hall of Office No. (30) of the Ministry of Industry.
Similarly, the Chairman of the Myanmar Cement Manufacturers Association also said that the cement factories in the region will be assigned to produce and distribute cement to reduce transportation costs for consumers.
