The Department of Archaeology and National Museums has announced that the National Museum (Yangon) will be closed from March (12) to (17) 2025.
The Negotiable Instruments Act of Myanmar stipulates that March (12) 2025 to March (16) 2025 are public holidays, so the National Museum (Yangon) will be closed on these days.
In addition, the museum is also closed on March (17) 2025 (Monday) to inform domestic and international visitors that the museum will reopen as usual on March (18).
The Tabaung Full Moon Day long holiday is the period between March (13) (Tabaung Full Moon Day), (15) (Saturday) and (16) (Sunday) and March (14), the day before the Tabaung Full Moon Day, and March (12) (5 holiday).
