According to the foundation, the Sasananwe Foundation will provide two cultural courses in the summer.
This summer, Sasananwe Sayadaw will teach basic and advanced courses himself.
Between 10 and 22 February, forms can be collected every day from 8 to 11 a.m. 75 students will be accepted in the basic course from KG to grade 4 and 75 in the advanced course from grades 5 to 12.
The basic course will include the Buddha’s life, Buddhist prayers, basic lessons on Buddhism, and cultural poems, and the advanced course will cover the Mangala Sutta, morality from the Sigalovada Sutta, and Lokaniti (worldly ethics).
There will be two training days a week on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 March to 25 May. The basic course will run from 7:30 am to 9:00 am, and the advanced course will run from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Venue is at Jetawan Monastery Dhamma Hall, Sasananwe Foundation, near Mount Taung Waing ascending road, Taung Waing, Mawlamyine. The registration fee is free, and food will be donated.
