The death of a young man who was swimming with 5 friends in the tributary of Ngamoeyeik Creek in Kampong Kyi Village, Yangon Region, Hlegu Township occurred on May 3 at around 3:45 PM.
When it was reported that a young man had gone missing while swimming with his friends in a tributary of Ngamoeyeik Creek, which is about 40 feet wide and about 20 feet deep, about 12 members of the Fire Station of Hlegu Township conducted a search and rescue operation.
The body of the deceased was transported to the public hospital in Hlegu Township by an ambulance belonging to the Medical Youth Social Assistance Association.
