Residents of Sarmaw village said that 24 cows died after being struck by lightning near the village of Sarmaw, Moe Kaung Township, Kachin State.
On the morning of May 2nd, near the creek at the foot of the mountain of Sarmaw Village, lightning struck while sending the cows to herd. It is reported that the lightning struck while it was raining.
Kachin State Moe Kaung Township’s Sarmaw, It is also reported that every year there are deaths of animals from lightning strikes in villages such as In Phuong, which are not spared by lightning because of lightning strikes when it rains.
