Myanmar Audio and Television will film and present images of people happily celebrating the 1385 Burmese traditional cultural festival, which will be held from April 13th to 16th, 2024 throughout Myanmar. Therefore, Myanmar Audio and Television will record and broadcast the performances at the Yangon Mandalay Mayor’s Pavilions in Nay Pyi Taw and the Walking Thingyan Pavilion in Nay Pyi Taw.
In such a broadcast, MRTV Parliament Channel will broadcast the performances of Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Maha Thingyan Mandap, the performances of Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan Mandap will be broadcasted by MRTVNRC Channel, the performances of Yangon Mayor Maha Thingyan Mandap will be broadcasted by MRTV Farmers’ Channel, and the performances of Mandalay Mayor Mahankarn Mandap will be broadcasted by MRTV Sports Channel.
From April 13th to 16th, images of Thingyan celebrations will be broadcast daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Performances from Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay Mayor’s Great Thingyan pavilions and Nay Pyi Taw walking Thingyan will be broadcasted on MRTV-HD Channel on all Thingyan days at around 2:00pm and 9:30pm every night.
