The chairman of SAC and Mr Sergei Glazev, member of the Board – Minister in Charge for Integration and Macroeconomics, Eurasian Economic Commission, was discussed for the mutual export of goods, direct payment and direct flights during a reception in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, Myanmar and EEC exchanged views on matters relating to the mutual export of goods, direct payment issues, technical cooperation in agricultural production, tourism sector development, direct flights, production of petroleum as high-grade finished products, cooperation in the textile industry, and collaboration in other sectors between Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The European Asian Economic Commission (EEC) group, made up of 5 countries such as Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting was also attended by SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine, the Russian delegation members and officials from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar.
