A man suddenly fainted at a bus stop due to the heat

At noon today, March 3, a man suddenly fainted at a bus stop next to the train station in Mingaladaung Taung Nyunt Township.

The man who fainted was around 40 years old and showed signs of high blood pressure and a high body temperature, said an official from the Linlek Social Assistance Association who went to the ground to help.

Due to the high daytime temperatures in April, the Myanmar Fire Brigade has issued a warning regarding natural disaster prevention, asking the middle-aged and elderly and those with chronic diseases to be more aware of the risk of heat stroke.

Due to the impact of the El Nino phenomenon, heat waves may occur in many places around the world in the next 10 days, some people who monitor weather and climate change have informed.
