President U Min Aung Hlaing is in India at the official invitation of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He attended the Myanmar-India Business Dialogue held at The Taj Palace in Mumbai on the morning of June 3, where he delivered a speech and met with Myanmar-India business leaders.
Among the attendees were Myanmar business leaders, including U Aye Win, Chairman of the Federation of Myanmar Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and prominent businessman U Aung Ko Win from Kanbawza. They participated in discussions as part of the Myanmar Business Delegation.
This visit marks President U Min Aung Hlaing’s first official trip to India since taking office, running from May 30 to June 3, 2026. He was accompanied by Union Ministers from various ministries, including the President’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Revenue, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, and Ministry of Industry and Micro, Small, Medium, and Enterprise Development. The delegation also included the Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar and businessmen from various sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, banking, construction, information technology, telecommunications, trade, and logistics. Additionally, members of the Myanmar-India Friendship Association were part of the delegation.
