All online gambling activities in the Myawaddy region of Myanmar, including locations such as KK Park, Shwe Kokko, and Kyauk Kyet, will be eradicated. This was stated by Major General Zaw Min Tun, the head of the State Security and Peace Commission Press Office, regarding the ongoing crackdown on online gambling fraud in the Myawaddy region and efforts for international cooperation.
To prevent the further establishment of online gambling and fraud in the KK Park area, Major General Zaw Min Tun also announced that all related buildings have been completely destroyed using machinery and advanced explosives.

After fighting broke out in 2021, various ethnic armed organizations (EAOs), including the KNU, KNLA, and some NCA signatories, along with forces from the Border Guard, have entered areas such as KK Park, Shwe Kokko, and Kyauk Kyet, which are located far from Myawaddy town. They are reportedly engaged in these activities alongside self-serving businessmen. This information has been substantiated with evidence of signed contracts, according to Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun.
The Tatmadaw has initiated a crackdown on online gambling in and around Myawaddy town. As the area gradually becomes more peaceful, efforts are being made to establish control and eliminate online fraud, as stated by Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun.

In relation to the explosions, the neighboring country has lodged complaints claiming that fragments from the explosions fell into their territory. Video recordings have been made to address these concerns, clearly demonstrating that no fragments landed in the other country. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Acting President and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, has instructed the military to take decisive action against online fraud and gambling, viewing it as a national duty, according to Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun.
