There are a total of 635 buildings in the three zones of the KK Park area where online gambling, online fraud, and other crimes are occurring. Currently, 110 of these buildings have been demolished, leaving 525 buildings yet to be taken down.
Authorities are identifying foreign nationals who have illegally entered Myanmar through border routes, including those from Thailand, and have committed online fraud and crimes in the KK Park areas of Kayin State, Myawaddy, and Mae Htaw Tha Lay. These individuals are being systematically transferred back to their respective countries in accordance with legal procedures. Additionally, the buildings in the KK Park area where these individuals resided are being demolished and cleared in accordance with the designated zones.
From January 30 to November 11, 2025, a total of 10,815 foreign nationals who entered Myanmar illegally were identified and detained. Of these, 9,536 were systematically deported to their respective countries through Thailand, following legal procedures. The remaining 1,279 foreign nationals are prepared to be transferred to their relevant countries.
The government has announced that it is actively collaborating with neighboring countries and international organizations to identify and address all individuals involved in online scams and online gambling.
