The campaigning period for the general election to be held in December has begun today (October 28).
Today, with the official campaigning period, some political parties that will compete in the election have begun their campaigning processes.
The Union Solidarity and Development Party’s candidates for parliament have also begun organizing on social media. In addition, a nationwide party signboard-raising ceremony was held this morning, including at the USDP party headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw.
The People’s Party has also released its election manifesto today. Similarly, the People’s Pioneer Party is preparing to erect candidate signs in Yangon.
In addition, most parties are using social media more and have also planned to apply for permits from relevant departments and the police to hold campaign speeches.
