The Acting President of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who also serves as the Chairman of the SSPC, recently inspected urban development and reconstruction efforts in the Nay Pyi Taw Council area. During his visit, he reviewed the construction of the People’s Square in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Acting President emphasized the importance of organizing traditional Burmese festivals and ceremonies in both the People’s Square and the Entertainment Square. He also highlighted the need to design and construct statues of Myanmar’s prominent figures and monuments related to teh State.
Furthermore, he stressed that construction should be carried out systematically and sustainably, ensuring resilience to natural disasters and structural strength. The Acting President provided specific instructions for those responsible for monitoring construction quality, urging them to implement the necessary measures effectively.

They arrived at the designated site for the construction of the Nay Pyi Taw city archway on Razathingaha Road, where they provided instructions based on reports from officials about the necessary measures for the project’s development. Following this, they toured Nay Pyi Taw Airport Road, the old Yangon-Mandalay Road, and Nay Pyi Taw city by vehicle, issuing directives to ensure that the roadsides are clean and aesthetically pleasing.
Subsequently, they visited the View Stand, where the Acting President outlined the necessary steps to upgrade the stage and its surrounding area, along with other required improvements.
