In other words, we will ensure that foreign election observation teams are invited and allowed to participate in accordance with the regulations.”
There is a tradition of conducting observation programs to ensure that elections are fair and credible. In line with this, arrangements are being made to ensure that the 2025 election is free, fair, dignified, and credible.
The organizations invited to participate will include all embassies and consulates in Myanmar that represent their countries in diplomatic matters, as well as international governments, Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs), and other relevant organizations.
The Union Election Commission (UEC) has stated that it will issue a statement regarding the organizations that will observe the election and will provide instructions for these organizations to apply in accordance with the established requirements.
