SAC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that the multi-party democracy system desired by the people will be implemented.
He made the remarks while delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the Peace Forum being held in Nay Pyi Taw.
“We will be implementing the multi-party democracy system desired by the people. Since taking office, it has been included in the five (5) priority areas. Therefore, our government will also hold the election as originally intended,” said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
He also added that the general election will be held in phases at the end of 2025 and early 2026.
