According to sources from the China Health medical support team, the team will administer vaccinations to people in areas affected by the earthquake.
China Health is coordinating with the Department of Public Health to assist people in the disaster-hit areas of Mandalay Region with disease screenings, preventive care, and other health-related support.
China Health has established a base in Mandalay, where it conducts laboratory tests of water and mosquito samples at relief camps, helps displaced people practice systematic handwashing, and offers mental health awareness programmes.
The team comprises 50 members and is experienced in providing post-disaster medical support following natural disasters, including earthquakes.
