The Department of Health has announced that the government will provide free medicines for liver disease patients starting this February.
The medicines will be provided to those suffering from fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, and hepatitis C, which can lead to liver cancer.
These patients will have to take the free medicines for 3 or 6 months.
Therefore, patients who want to receive free medical treatment are urged to contact their nearest hospital and health centers starting February 1.
In the past year, the Department of Health has provided free cervical cancer vaccines, snake venom antivenom, distemper vaccines, and COVID vaccines, as well as diarrhea vaccines.
