Kathina robes and silver flowers for decoration are active market although religious object sellers think that it will be a dull market in Kathina season this year.
Kathina offertories such as a set of robes decorated with a bunch of golden flowers are in high demand this year. Wholesalers in Bahan market are creating such decorated items more.
The minimum wholesale price of Kathina robe per set was Ks-100,000 depending on the types of robe. The sellers said that the fees for decoration and goods cost Ks-30000.
The sellers estimated that the Kathina festival this year may be cold Kathina season but ceremonies as it might rain until the early November.
