Director of Youth Football Development, Japanese coach Mr. Mita and the selection teams will provide free tuition for classroom and football studies for FIFA-MFF TDS Scouting Program preliminary selection programs since May 4th in Myitkyina, Taunggyi, Mandalay, Bago, Pathein and Yangon. It was announced today that 203 young people have been preliminarily selected since May 4th in Pathein and Yangon.
According to preliminary selection programs, Yangon – 432, Mandalay – 320, Taunggyi -196, Myitkyina -150, Pathein – 59, Bago – 48 and A total of 1,205 people were selected, and the selection teams announced the list of the winners of the preliminary stage.The final selection will be held at the Myanmar Football Academy (Mandalay) on 11 and 12 May for Upper Myanmar and at the National Football Academy (Yangon) on 15 and 16 May for Lower Myanmar.
Selected academy students will receive free tuition for classroom and football studies.The students can become national team players and professional players who will be able to make a living depending on their skills and efforts. The academies will systematically nurture the students to become good players who can be relied upon for the future Myanmar national team. Students must follow the rules established by the academy and learn to study in class and football.
