Due to the extreme temperature, a young athlete fell unconscious and died on the hiking road of Mya Thapate mountain

It is reported that a young man died of dehydration on May 4 yesterday at around 2:00 in the afternoon in Mawlamyaing city, Mon State.

A hiking car reported to Thaton Hninsi(Akyin Nar Twe Let Social Assistance Association) that a 19-year-old male fell unconscious on the Mya Thapate mountain hiking road because of thirsty and chest pain due to the extreme temperature.

The association official told MT News,”When we arrived, he collapsed and died. But we tried to sent to the hospital as soon as possible not to delay the process, and when the hospital gave approval, the dead body was brought to home according to his family’s desire.”

It is said that the deceased young man was a football athlete without any serious illness and also was playing competitively in township teams.
