On March 26 at around 3:00 PM, a report stated that U Myo Myint Aung, who is the chairman of the People’s Pioneer (PPP) Party was shot dead by PDF in Min Hla Township, Tharawati District, Bago Region.
When U Myo Myint Aung was in his shop, the PDF group entered and opened fire, and as U Myo Myint Aung was seriously injured, and he was taken to the hospital, but he died on arrival at the hospital.
U Myo Myint Aung switched from being an executive of the USDP’s Party in Min Hla Township to the PPP Party in Min Hla Township before the 2020 election, but after 2023, he submitted a letter of resignation from the PPP Party, according to local residents.
