It is reported that 78 illegal migrant Bengalis were arrested on a boat found in the southwest of Kalakote Island in Ye City, Ye District, Mon State.
The maritime security team inspected a suspicious boat in the southwest of Kalakote Island at 6:00 a.m. on March 19. During the inspection, it was reported that illegal migrant Bengalis 44 men and 34 women were arrested at the “Zwe Khit San” boat.
Also last January 24, security forces arrested more than 100 illegal migrants Bengali who were sneaking in two boats near Wakhru village in Thanbyuzayat City and the two drivers of the boat escaped.
