No.54, University Avenue, Bahan Township, in Yangon City Daw Aung San Su Kyi’s house which was inherited by her brother U Aung San Oo was auctioned this morning.
After the court won the case against his brother, U Aung San Oo, the court ordered the houseyard to be auctioned for 315 billion kyats. According to this order, today, March 20th, at 10:00 a.m., an auction was held in front of the house on University Avenue.
After the bailiff and court clerk asked 3 times if there was anyone who would bid for yard number 54. Finally, as no one bids on an auction, the bailiff announced that the auction was unsuccessful. Since the auction was unsuccessful today, the court will announce the auction date again, it is reported.
