According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Myanmar and Russia have signed an agreement to abolish visa requirements for citizens of both countries.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Myanmar’s Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe met on October 28 during a formal meeting, during which the two ministers signed the agreement on the mutual exemption of visa requirements for their nationals.
During the meeting, both ministers also discussed prospects for further deepening bilateral cooperation and enhancing mutual collaboration between the two countries.
