At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, a high-level delegation from Myanmar, led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the Chairman of theState Security and Peace Commission, has arrived at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk, Russia. They are attending the World Atomic Week Forum 2025, which will be held in Moscow.
The delegation departed from Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport on a special plane this morning. They were seen off at the airport by Vice Senior General Soe Win, Vice Chairman of the Council; U Nyo Saw, Prime Minister; U Aung Lin Dwe, Chief Executive; Union Ministers; senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence; the Commander of the Nay Pyi Taw Military Command; and officials from the Russian Embassy in Myanmar, along with representatives from the Military Embassy.
The Acting President was accompanied by several officials, including the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, General Ye Win Oo; the Secretary and Joint Chief Executive of the Commission, U Than Swe; the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs and a Commission member, U Nyan Tun; U Ko Ko Lwin; Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw; Dr. Thet Khaing Win; the Chief Minister of the Mandalay Region, U Myo Aung; as well as senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, deputy ministers, and officials from the military and regional administration.
The special plane carrying the Acting President, the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, and the accompanying members arrived at Tolmachevo Airport in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the Governor of Novosibirsk Region, Mr. Travnikov Ahdrey Aleksandrovich, along with other officials.
