“Not a challenge at all. China needs us,” President Trump told reporters at the White House. “I don’t see it as a challenge at all,” he added.
“You all know I have a great relationship with President Xi Jinping of China. But China needs us more than we need China,” Trump said firmly.
China is holding a grand military parade in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square on September 3 to mark the 80th anniversary of its victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Xi Jinping, Putin and other world leaders are attending the event.
