Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, U Than Swe, received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Myanmar, Mr Mutaz Abdullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
Both sides cordially exchanged views on further strengthening the existing bilateral ties, including the establishment of diplomatic missions in each country, enhancing economic cooperation, and promoting trade and investment opportunities in all areas of mutual benefit between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present at the meeting.
