The MT YU DONG, carrying 2940.055 tons of octane (92) and 11930 tons of diesel, the 15th donation from the People’s Republic of China for the reconstruction work due to the Mandalay earthquake, arrived at the BRIGHTER ENERGY Oil Terminal in Kyauktan Township, Thanlyin District at 2:30 am on May 23. The MV.Orient Glory, carrying 1120 modular houses and 160 offices, arrived at the Thilawa (MITT) Port at 4:00 pm on May 25.
The 2,940.055 tons of octane (92) and 1,1930 tons of diesel that arrived at BRIGHTER ENERGY Oil Terminal and the 1,120 units of modular (prefabricated) houses and 160 units of offices that arrived at Thilawa (MITT) Port were handed over to Yangon Region officials by Mr. Ouyang Daobing, Economic Attach of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Myanmar, on May 25. The Ministry of Energy will continue to transport the octane and diesel that arrived to the earthquake-stricken areas.
