As part of an effort to protect the environment, the Save the trees environmental protection association plans to plant around 1000 shady trees in Toungoo district starting in early monsoon 2024.
As soon as it starts raining in June, the association will plant only about 10000 trees around schools, monasteries and village treks in Toungoo district.
Public awareness about environmental conservation, climate change, and deforestation is promoted through this tree-planting campaign.
