Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Chairman of the Advisory Board of Royal Thai Army and Chief of Army Operations Center, Neighboring Countries Coordination Center (NCCC) General Kittisak Boonprathamchai at the parlour of Zeyathiri Villa here this morning.
At the meeting, views on promotion of the existing friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the armed forces, exchange of goodwill visits and cultural programs between the two armed forces, continuation of bilateral cooperation in ensuring peace and stability and the rule of law, and launching anti-terrorism operations and information exchange programs in border areas were cordially exchanged.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Thai general exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photos.
Also present together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and senior military officers from Office of Commander-in-Chief. The Thai general was accompanied by senior military officers from Royal Thai Army and Thai Military Attaché Senior Colonel Thanwit Yomchinda.
