Bangladesh Navy rescued 15 Myanmar citizens and a fishing boat that was trapped in the sea

The Bangladesh Navy rescued 15 Myanmar citizens and aboard a fishing boat whose engine failed and was floating in the sea in the past few days and handed them over to the Myanmar Navy.

The Bangladesh Navy rescued 15 sailors of the fishing vessel ‘Ma-Moni’ after the emergency number was called. The fishing boat went into the sea from Gahira coast in Chittagong on January 3. On January 4, the fishing boat’s engine caught fire, leaving the crew stranded at sea.

The ship was stuck in the sea for more than 10 days. The sailors reported about the owner of the fishing boat being stuck at sea. The owner of the fishing boat called the emergency number and reported that his fishing boat and crew were stuck in the sea for more than 10 days.
