918 electric vehicles were registered during nine months of 2023, according to the Road Transportation Administration Department.
From January to the end of September this year, 916 EV passenger vehicles and two trucks(light) were allowed to be registered.
Currently, the market price has stood more than Ks-90 million to more than Ks-200 million based on the types of EV. Although EVs are being imported to the country continuously, the price hasn’t dropped yet, according to the EVs market.
There are 3065 EV vehicles that were registered at RTAD till September, according to the RTAD.
Under the approval of the national-level steering committee on the development of electric vehicles and related businesses, these EVs were imported.
