During the shooting in Siam Paragon Shopping Mall on 3 October, 2023, the gunman sprayed bullets at customers including Daw Moe Myint (Aged 31), who was working at the Take Toy Company, was seriously injured and died when she arrived at the hospital.
Regarding the incident, Myanmar Ambassador of Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok and labour attaché met with police lieutenant colonel from Pathuwan local police station and employer of the deceased Myanmar national on 4 October, and discussed matters on funeral and sympathy money.
Moreover, Myanmar Embassy has contacted to the dead person’s mother ,who is living in Thaton. Negotiations are made to cremate the dead body of Daw Myo Myint at Changwattana monastery in Bangkok according to her family.
Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok will continue helping for necessary assistance in closely cooperation with relevant officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
