Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received a delegation led by President of the Russia-Myanmar Association for Friendship and Cooperation Mr. Anatoly Bulochnikov at the Ministry on Tuesday.
At the call, they discussed matters on energy sector development of Myanmar, technical cooperation in the inland and off-shore oil and natural gas exploration, boosting cooperation in energy sector of Myanmar and Russia.
They also exchanged views on plans to cooperate the Russian companies in the fuel import and distribution sectors and providing technological assistance for manufacturing fertilizer from coal.
The meeting also focused on the work plans while attending the 6th Russia Energy Forum, construction of oil and natural gas pipelines, seimic tasks and working together with Russian companies in the petroleum refining works.
