All have to strive for the interest of the nation, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe said at a meeting with heads and charge d’affaires of Myanmar Embassies and Permanent Representative Offices in the America Zone, Europe Zone, Middle East and Africa Zone via video conferencing on 23 February.
The Union Minister urged all to strive for the interest of the nation and its people despite challenges in performing duties.
He stressed the need to carry out the tasks based on transparent and genuineness without damaging the friendly relations.
He also pointed out the need to have loyalty to the country by abiding by the rules and regulations of the civil servants.
He continued that civil servants should not participate in political affairs. They should not misuse their authority either and should work honestly and have mutual respect among officials of embassies and staff.
He urged all to work in unity and harmony while striving for capacity building.
