U Thant Sin, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, has been awarded the Best Ambassador of 2023 in South Korea for his efforts in advancing the relations between the two countries.
The award ceremony was held at the Korea Press Center in Seoul, South Korea on 21 February.
The Best Ambassador Award is an award event run by Korea Ambassador Culture and Friendship Association and NDN news/Seoul City.
Regarding the presenting award, Chairman of the association Mr. Shin Hyun Doo said that Myanmar Ambassador actively participated in exerting to develop the Korea culture, various fields such as trade, businesses, education and K-pop Culture, maintained the relations between Myanmar and South Korea very well, and made an effort in advancing the relations between the two countries. So, We recognized his efforts and presented him the award.
Besides Myanmar Ambassador, ambassadors of Slovakia, Oman and Sierra Leone also received the 2023 Best Ambassador Award presented by Korea Ambassador and Friendship Association for their active efforts, it is reported.
