A SAC official confirmed that Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will hold a meeting with Russian President Putin during the visit.
“During the visit, the Senior General will have talks with the Russian Government ministers. The details about the meeting with the Russian President have not known yet,” he said.
The Senior General arrived at Vladivostok in Russia on 4 September today to attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum 2022 to be held in Vladivostok from September 5 to 8, according to some Russian medias.
The Senior General will pay a visit to the Russian Federation within days at the invitation of Eastern Economic Forum- EEF organized by the Russian Government, SAC released on 2 September.
During the visit, the Senior General will attend the 7th Eastern Economic Forum 2022 to be held in Vladivostok from September 5 to 8 and meet with officials of the Russian Government. Then, he will have talks with the Russian Government officials to strengthen cooperation on friendship and economy and various sectors between the countries, it is learnt.
