U Zaw Zaw, President of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and Senior Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), was elected as the Chairman of FIFA’s Social Responsibility Committee at a FIFA Council meeting held recently.
U Zaw Zaw will therefore serve as the Chairman of FIFA’s Social Responsibility Committee from 2025 to 2029. Argentine legend Javier Zanetti will serve as the Vice Chairman, and the Committee will consist of (21) members.
MFF President U Zaw Zaw also serves as the Chairman of the AFC’s Social Responsibility Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees of the AFC Dream Asia Foundation from 2023 to 2027. He was also awarded the AFC Dream Asia Award (2013), ASEAN Goodwill Award (2014), ASEAN Goodwill Award (2017), and AFC Distinguished Service Award (2024) by the Asian Football Confederation and the ASEAN Football Confederation. #U_Zaw_Zaw #FIFA #MFF #AFC #Myanmar #mtnews
