According to residents and travel services, most hotel rooms at Ngwesaung Beach for the Thadingyut holiday have already been booked.
Recently, visitor arrivals to the beach have increased, and the beach is likely to be crowded during the upcoming Thadingyut holiday. Unfortunately, no more rooms are available now, said residents.
At Ngwesaung, popular tourist attractions include Snake Island, Phaya Thonesu, Lovers’ Island, the Elephant Camp, Taung Kadone Beach, the night market, and the Japanese cafe Surf Club. Visitors can also enjoy a boat trip to Bird Island, Turtle Island, Kyunlyashe, and Gawyangyi Island.
