The head of the press team, Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun, said that the reports of Pro Tem President U Myint Swe’s death are not true and that he is currently receiving treatment at the No. 2 Tatmadaw Hospital.
Social media platforms reported that Pro Tem President U Myint Swe, had passed away at around 3 a.m. on August 6. Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun responded by saying, “The reports of Pro Tem President U Myint Swe’s death are not true. He is currently receiving treatment at the No. 2 Tatmadaw Hospital.”
