Including this latest sale, the CBM sold over $155 million between February 3 and 26. In February, a total of 310 million Thai Baht were sold, including 150 million Thai Baht specifically for fuel importers. Additionally, more than 7 million Chinese Yuan were sold.
In January, the CBM sold a total of $173 million, nearly 14 million Thai Baht and over 15 million Chinese Yuan, which included $45 million exclusively for fuel importers.
Due to the continuous sale of foreign currency, the exchange rates as of today stand at 1 USD = 4,450 MMK, 1 THB = 132 MMK, 1 CNY = 616 MMK. Compared to early February, these exchange rates have slightly decreased, stabilising the foreign currency market.
