Burmese female fighter Karen Cheetah Bronica will face Chilean Francisca Vera at One Friday Fight 97 on Valentine’s Day, February 14, One Championship announced on the evening of February 3.
The two-time Thai King’s Cup champion, Bronica, announced on January 28 that she had signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with ONE Championship to fight in Muay Thai and kickboxing, less than a week after signing the contract.
The two will fight in a 3-minute, 3-round Atomweight Muay Thai match at One Friday Fight 97 Valentine’s SAVAGERY at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Chilean opponent, Francisca Vera, is 25 years old and 5 feet 7 inches tall. Vera has a poor record of 2 wins and three losses in One Friday Fight, and it would be a disaster for Vera to defeat Bro.
The Myanmar Kayan Tiger, who aims to become the ONE champion, is 28 years old and stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, making her opponent slightly taller. Veronika has fought 20 times in the Thai King’s Cup, organized by Thai Fight, with 18 wins, including nine knockouts and two losses on points.
