Myanmar and Cambodia sign MOU on bilateral cooperation of anti-corruption

Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Than Swe met with Chairman of Anti-Corruption Unit of Cambodia Senior Minister H.E. Kittinitikosalbindit Om Yentieng and signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on bilateral cooperation after both sides discussed topical issues on anti-corruption cooperation between the two countries.

The purpose of this MOU is to share information in connection with the fighting against the corruption between the two countries, to jointly perform anti-corruption tasks such as survey data collection, corruption risk assessment, promoting integrity and truthfulness; and opening of technical assistance skill training courses.

In addition, the 18th ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC) meeting was held in Phnom Penh of Cambodia on 22 November. Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Than Swe attended at the MOU signing ceremony and participated to sign.

A total of 59 delegates including leaders of Anti-Corruption agencies from ASEAN-PAC member states attended at the meeting.
