At the start of the 2024-2025 fiscal year, more than 110,000 tons of rice and broken rice were sold abroad in April, according to a statement from the Myanmar Rice and Rice Federation.Rice and broken rice from Myanmar are being sold in excess monthly to foreign customer markets,in April of the fiscal year 2024-2025, 45 domestic rice importing companies sold 42,770 tons of rice and 69,092 tons of broken rice, a total of 11,1862 tons of rice and broken rice. In such excess sales, rice is exported to foreign market countries 22 countries. It is reported that the broken rice has been sold to 13 (13) foreign market countries.
