According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, due to Western disturbances and development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly wirdespread upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, there will be scattered thunderstorms in Nay Pyi Taw, Lower Sagaing Region, Mandalay Region, Magway Region, Bago Region, Yangon Region, Irrawaddy Region, Tanintharyi Region, Shan State, Chin State, Rakhine state, Kayah State, Karen State and Mon State.
Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
People should be awared development of convective clouds and untimely rainfall accompanied with strong wind, thunder,lightingstrikes,lightning and hails.
