The 2023-2024 State/Region Billiard and Snooker Championship
will be held at the Billiards and Snooker Stadium in Wunna Theikdi Stadium, Nay Pyi Taw. The championship will run from 24 February to 1 March, featuring 13 male and 10 female teams. Spectators interested in sports can attend the events free of charge.
Members of the State Administration Council, Union Ministers, deputy ministers, officials, and athletes enjoyed the event. Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, also the chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee, inaugurated the ceremony by expressing his desire for athletes to showcase their talents and strive to excel. He encouraged them to become exemplary athletes on whom the state can rely. Following his remarks, the athletes recited the Sports Oaths.
